Lindsay Stephenson
Lindsay Stephenson has been using storytelling to connect with audiences since starting her career in communications more than 20 years ago.
She began her career in a boutique PR firm in New York City where she managed accounts in the burgeoning dotcom and technology industries. When her firm was secured as the PR firm on record for the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics, she acted as the Press Chief for the 2002 Salt Lake Olympic Torch Relay and was a part of a 3-member team that created the Crisis Communication Plan for the Games that year.
Following the Olympics, she relocated to Los Angeles where she was the PR Director for Fortune 500 company, KB Home. During her time at the organization, she managed media relations for the launch of the KB Home/ Martha Stewart communities as well as served as crisis communications lead during the housing crisis. After the birth of her first daughter, she left the corporate world for entrepreneurship and started a production company with filmmaker (and husband), Michael Paul Stephenson. Their first film, Best Worst Movie, premiered at SXSW and went on to win numerous awards and accolades.
Over the next decade she was instrumental in establishing the production company as a leading independent production company in Hollywood. She has produced numerous pieces for organizations such as Boeing and Visit Salt Lake as well as feature films The American Scream and Zero Charisma.
In 2017 after seeing the void in women run businesses, she formed SisterUp with her sister and corporate executive, Krista Parry. SisterUp provided business and marketing consulting to female entrepreneurs. As a way to elevate the voices of female thought leaders, change makers and activists, they also launched The SisterUp Podcast.
Throughout her career Lindsay has seen the lack of confidence that women have in what they believe they are capable of – in large part due to the inequity and inequality of the patriarchal systems within our corporations and society.
With the goal of guiding more women to live a life on their own terms and change the narrative around how a woman is allowed to show up, she went through training to become a Certified Professional Coach and subsequently launched RoseBird Coaching.
She works with women in all stages of life in guiding them to take action from their own inner knowing, creating a life of THEIR own design.
