Charles K. Poole
Charles K. Poole is Chief Communications Officer and Vice President, Marketing and Public Relations for Prospect Medical Holdings, a growing healthcare services company operating17 hospitals and more than 165 clinics and outpatient centers in six states.
He previously served as Head of Communications and Brand Marketing for Ascension Technologies. There, he led the creation and execution of technology brand strategy and experience, marketing and advertising, public relations and thought leadership, social media strategy, internal communications, and consumer access for the technology subsidiary of Ascension, the nation’s largest non-profit healthcare system. Beginning in 2018, Poole led the national rebranding of Ascension Technologies in alignment with Ascension’s own rebranding effort across the enterprise.
Prior to joining Ascension, Poole was the Senior Vice President, Communications for CitiMortgage. Poole spent the majority of his career –15 years — in a variety of senior roles with Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world’s largest brewer, where he was responsible for issues management programming, entertainment marketing initiatives, and promoting the company’s corporate social responsibility, multicultural and philanthropic initiatives in support of the company’s business strategy and commercial interests to a wide variety of internal and external audiences including employees, media, distributors, multicultural organizations, community groups and local, state and federal governments.
A member of the Arthur Page Society, Poole is a former adjunct professor at Saint Louis University and Webster University. He’s also the author of three self-help books, a blogger, host of a podcast, and is adding additional creative outlets to his life at every opportunity.
