Not only do you need to be clear about what direction you’re trying to go in your career, it’s important to understand the risks and rewards of those projects put in front of you. Sometimes it’s better to take small steps instead of leaping in to something huge. Sometimes it’s better to take on that less popular project — the hard one that no one really wants. No matter what approach you take, you can dare to be deliberate in your career by reaching for those stretch opportunities and showing what you’ve got!
