“I am genuinely excited about the roles we fill for our clients, and that I am able to build relationships with amazing candidates. I feel truly lucky to get to do the work I do every day.”
For the past two decades, Angee has recruited for organizations of all sizes. An experienced comms pro herself, she knows the sector from the inside out.
Angee is a three-time recipient of the Silver Anvil (including “Best of Show”) – the top honor conferred by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
She’s presented her insights at forums ranging from the Microsoft Worldwide Partners Conference to IABC and PRSA international conferences – and at academic institutions from Columbia University to the University of Washington.
She served for 25 years in the military with the unusual mix of being a U.S. Army journalist and then a Navy Reserve Public Affairs Officer.
This experience gave Angee a global perspective, a lifetime’s worth of great stories, and a love of high-stakes assignments – all qualities that have served her (and her clients!) very well over the years.
Angee graduated from the highly regarded School of Journalism at the University of Missouri, and went on to earn a master’s degree in career development.
Angee continues to travel widely, taking photographs and exploring new cultures. Closer to her home in Seattle, Angee enjoys hiking around the Puget Sound.
“After spending 15 years in PR, it’s great being able to keep my hand in the industry as a recruiter. It allows me to stay in touch with my national network and keep up with the latest strategies and tactics.”
Christine Pierson brings a focus on client service and a global network to our searches for world-class marketing and communications talent.
With 15 years of PR agency experience, Christine leverages her communications prowess to help her recruiting clients build out stellar teams. In one case, her work yielded seven successful hires in a single year for a growing company.
A former vice president at Edelman, the world’s largest public-relations firm, Christine was a trusted senior advisor to leading companies in the technology, energy, healthcare, travel & tourism, food, and retail industries.
During her tenure as a communications professional she received numerous local, regional and national accolades, including recognition as a Gold SABRE Finalist and a PR Week Award Honorable Mention.
Christine has a truly global perspective – she has lived and traveled around the world. When abroad, she has focused her time on social-service work volunteering with at-risk kids. Over the past two decades, Christine has made more than 15 trips to France and eaten more than her body weight in cheese (the fact that her husband is French probably has something to do with this).
Christine graduated from Mills College, where she earned a B.A. in communications. She is happy to be back in her native Northern California, where she lives with her husband, daughter, two cats, and a three-legged dog named Ginger.
“I love partnering with corporate leaders to help them solve their business challenges with stellar communicators and marketers.”
